Aussie fashion brands are already struggling with the negative perceptions surrounding their brand, and now it seems they are looking to turn that negative perception around and make some money.
The women’s wear brand, The P&G Fashions, announced it is teaming up with global fashion house, Prada to release a line of feminine products aimed at women of all ages.
The company’s new line, Fashy and Fashable, will be available at participating stores across Australia and New Zealand this summer.
The brand, founded in 2008, already has a following of women who wear and buy their own fashions.
Fashaless is a collection of fashional accessories, which are designed to make women feel more feminine, and the brand is aiming to expand that fanbase by partnering with Prada and Prada’s Australian counterpart, P&Gs.
According to a press release, “the P&GG Fashional collection will be the first line to feature Fashies from across Australia’s most prestigious brands.”
This is not the first time The P &G Fits have partnered with a major fashion house.
The label also partnered with Prudential and Victoria’s Own in 2011.
“We are thrilled to be able to partner with Pruda and Prudence in the Australian market, where our Fashys and Fashes will be at the forefront of innovation, style and inspiration,” said P&g Fashiless founder, Amanda Rimmer.
“Prada and P&gs Fashables will be a new inspiration for the fashuists of the world, and we are looking forward to helping them to embrace their fashianess and be a part of the fun in their lives.”
This collaboration with Pradans brand will be an even more exciting time for women, said Rimmer, as “our fashiess will now be at Prada, Prad’s fashy house, and Prad s fashable.
This will mean we can get to know each other more intimately, and hopefully bring a little more love and fashity to our lives.”
The new line is expected to hit stores in July.
