Refreshing feminine products that are designed to moisturize and keep skin supple can help you maintain a healthy glow without any harsh chemicals, according to new research.
The findings come from a study conducted by researchers at Johns Hopkins University.
The research team found that women using feminine products for the first time tended to be more sensitive to fragrance than women who used similar products before.
They also noticed that using the products at the beginning of a routine did not cause women to be irritable or upset.
Women who used feminine products in the beginning tended to use the products more often and more frequently than women using similar products.
For the study, researchers asked a group of women who were using a daily routine, and who were not yet on a hormonal regimen, to use products made with different ingredients.
The researchers found that products containing a blend of three essential oils, including lavender, rosemary and menthol, were more effective than other products at reducing skin irritation.
The oils were also more effective at reducing the appearance of pores and at reducing dryness.
“The most effective ingredients were those with a high degree of fragrantness, so if you are using a lot of fragrances, you want to avoid products that contain more fragrant ingredients than others,” said Dr. Susan M. Wysocki, the study’s lead author and a dermatologist at Johns-Hopkins.
In addition to reducing irritation, using these products also helped women reduce their daily use of prescription medications and other drugs.
The results were presented at the American Academy of Dermatology meeting last month in Los Angeles.
